Bimini Sunset

Michael and Helen Lerner in 1936 at Bimini with
two great catches of blue marlin. Mike Lerner was the founder of the
"Lerner Shops" in the United States. in the late 1930s he helped
establish the International Game fish Association and in 1948
founded the Lerner Marine Laboratory at Bimini. The Lab, part of the
American Museum of Natural History in New York, closed in 1974.
